Положения  Соглашения  временно  применяются  в соответствии с пунктом 4 статьи XVI.

 

Соглашение не вступило в силу на 02.04.2001.

DECLARATION
OF THE REPUBLIC OF BULGARIA IN CONNECTION WITH THE SIGNING OF THE AGREEMENT ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE BLACK SEA NAVAL CO-OPERATION TASK GROUP

 

 

The Republic of Bulgaria concludes the Agreement on the Establishment of the Black Sea Naval Co-operation Task Group (BLACKSEAFOR) with the conviction that this initiative will contribute to strengthening of good neighbourly relations, confidence and co-operation among the Black Sea countries.

 

At the same time, the Republic of Bulgaria considers regrettabie the fact that the establishment of the Task Group has been limited in participation to the Black Sea states only. Guided by the understanding of the need to develop broader naval co-operation in the Black Sea - Mediterranean basin, the Republic of Bulgaria will continue to work for broadening the format of participants in the Task Group, in accordance with its priority goal for integration into the Euro-Atlantic area of security and co-operation.
